Readiness Testing

It can be difficult for parents to know what is expected of their children in preparation for beginning Grade 1. Many parents have concerns about their child’s readiness to begin school. ALA Inc. can assess your child’s academic skills using a combination of standardized and criterion-referenced assessments. We will investigate oral language, math, early reading and phonological awareness. We will provide recommendations to help with this important transition. The cost of the assessment includes test administration, a detailed report with percentile ranks, grade equivalents and recommendations, and a follow-up phone call or meeting.
